“Any Of It” by Imitation

Posted on 30 December 202425 March 2025 By Chorus Chronicles 1 Comment on “Any Of It” by Imitation

Originally from Hungary, electronic music duo Imitation is excited to announce the release of their latest track, “Any Of It,” on September 6th. The track, which combines electro and indie electronica, marks a substantial milestone for the band in their debut on the Asian music scene. With a passion for telling stories through music, they have captivated audiences with their complex soundscapes and emotive performances. “Any Of It” is their latest project, demonstrating their development as artists and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Their music falls somewhere between The Knife, Björk, and Floating Points. They describe its tone as strange and styleless pop, reflecting the band’s uncompromising desire to express themselves without limits and to combine different genres such as minimal electro, trip-hop, thrash, and avant-garde with a unique touch and soulful vocals. Bulcsu creates a musical universe with distant, melancholic, cold and extravagant tones that are complemented by Zsanett’s intimate, reflective and free singing.

“Any Of It” showcases Imitation’s signature blend of electro and indietronica art, opening with serene synths and intricate rhythms that develop into a rich and emotive soundscape. The duo’s storytelling prowess shines, drawing the audience into a meticulously crafted aural world. What makes this single unique is that it includes a remix by Japanese producer Kazuhiro Takeuchi, who brought his distinguished perspective to the track. This reputable feature highlights Imitation’s eagerness to engage with new audiences and explore diverse musical landscapes.

“Any Of It” is a preview of singles from Imitation’s upcoming album, “Time Rhymes.” In anticipation of the album’s release, the duo is planning an exclusive live event to give fans a first listen to their new work.
