La mayoría de los músicos sueñan con ganar un Grammy, pero sólo hay un premio al que aspira Chappell Roan.

El artista pop de 26 años ha tenido un ascenso meteórico hacia el estrellato este año. Su álbum debut, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”, encabezó la lista Billboard 200, sólo superado por Taylor Swift; actuó ante multitudes récord en festivales como Lollapalooza y Austin City Limits; y ganó el premio al mejor artista nuevo en los MTV Video Music Awards.

Entonces, ¿qué mejor manera de culminar su mega año que ganando su primer premio Grammy? Con el cierre de la votación de la Academia de la Grabación el 15 de octubre, Roan parece ser un candidato seguro para una nominación a mejor artista nuevo, entre otras categorías principales. Pero ella ha dicho que no le importan los elogios.
